About Course
The Social Engineering Awareness Training Module is designed to help Levino Capital employees identify, resist, and report manipulation-based cyber threats.
Unlike technical attacks, social engineering targets human psychology using trust, fear, and urgency to trick users into revealing sensitive information or taking harmful actions.
This course provides real-world examples, interactive simulations, and practical strategies to strengthen human resilience.
Participants will:
- Learn how to recognise and respond to phishing, smishing, vishing, and business email compromise (BEC).
- Understand how scammers impersonate executives, IT staff, or customer support to steal data or funds.
- Practise safe responses through simulation scenarios based on real-world cases (Google/Facebook, Mattel, Twilio).
- Develop strong habits for verifying requests, managing pressure, and maintaining confidentiality.
- Reinforce behaviours aligned with ISO 27001 A.7 & A.12, NIST CSF (Identify & Protect), and CIS Control 14.
By the end of this module, employees will be able to detect deception tactics, act calmly under pressure, and report incidents confidently strengthening Levino Capital’s overall human-centred security culture.
