About Course

The IT Team Cybersecurity Training Module is a role-based course designed for Levino Capital’s IT and security personnel responsible for maintaining the organisation’s cyber resilience.

This module builds both technical and procedural capabilities combining hands-on scenarios, real-world case studies, and ISO 27001-aligned practices to strengthen defence and incident response maturity.

Through this training, participants will:

  • Learn how to deploy and manage core defence tools such as Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR), and the Secure Email Gateway (SEG).
  • Gain experience analysing system logs, detecting anomalies, and responding to security incidents using NIST CSF Protect, Detect, and Respond principles.
  • Develop secure patching, vendor management, and change control habits consistent with CIS Controls 4, 5, 6, and 12.
  • Participate in interactive simulations covering vendor access misuse, privilege escalation, ransomware containment, and communication failures.
  • Understand ITIL-based processes for Incident Management, Change Enablement, and Access Management.

By the end of this module, IT professionals will be able to proactively manage threats, maintain compliance, and lead the technical implementation of Levino Capital’s Zero-Trust cybersecurity framework.

IT Team Cybersecurity Awareness Training
In Every employee contributes to cybersecurity, but it is the IT staff who serve as the primary guardians of Levino Capital’s digital framework. Unlike their non-technical counterparts, IT professionals encounter both technical challenges and human threats, including misconfigurations, insider misuse, and advanced attacks aimed at privileged accounts. Given their elevated access, attackers often see IT teams as prime targets, which means that even a single error such as reusing an admin password or postponing a patch can jeopardize the entire organization. Therefore, it is crucial for IT staff to maintain the utmost discipline, technical awareness, and strict compliance with established policies.
