Remote work brings flexibility but also new vulnerabilities. Public Wi-Fi, such as in airports or cafés, can be easily monitored by attackers, exposing logins and sensitive information. Employees must always use VPN connections when accessing company systems remotely and comply with all corporate remote-work policies, including device hardening and regular updates. Remote work may feel convenient, but without proper security, it can become the weakest link in the organization’s defense. Introduction : You Are the Shield
In today’s digital environment; attackers are no longer relying only on breaking through technical defenses such as firewalls or antivirus software. Instead, they increasingly focus on the human element, exploiting mistakes or lapses in judgment. Each employee is, in fact, a “human firewall.” By staying alert and practicing safe behaviors, you can stop an attack before it even begins. Something as simple as refusing to click on a suspicious email link can save the company from a major data breach.
